I have a problem. You see, right after Mathew and I got married (about the next week or so), I got an iPhone. What does this mean? Well, it means I never feel the need to get on my laptop anymore because all I need to do is use my phone to check Facebook and Twitter. My other problem? Pure exhaustion. By the time I come home from work, cook dinner, work on homework, and go to the gym, I finally collapse on my couch and call it a night. Married life has that effect on you. You know, (or maybe you don’t just yet), that whole, “getting into a routine” thing. All I know, is that I need to work my blog into my routine.

The best way to keep up with me though is through Twitter, I suppose. If I don’t have you added as a friend yet, let me know and I’ll add you.

As for an update- we got our wedding pictures back this past week. The only downside? I have a netbook laptop and there’s no CD/DVD drive. This wouldn’t be an issue if my pictures didn’t come on HD discs for me to have all copyrights to (and to pick which photos I want in our albums). Needless to say, I think I’m going to have to go buy a cd drive at Best Buy this upcoming week. I really want to see our pictures 🙂

I know in the title of this post gave some not-so-subtle hinting about a “little one”. I am pleased to announce that we’ll be the proud parents of a furbaby on February 18th! We have decided to get our first puppy together, and she is a maltipoo. We are waiting for her to turn 8 weeks old so she can leave her mommy. We are so excited to get her soon!

We’ve decided to name her Pearl 🙂

She looks like an adorable little rat right now, but in a few weeks when we get her, she’ll be fluffy and curly and have cute floppy ears :). We’re pretty much completely ready for her. We’ve bought her kennel, her collar, toys, blankets, bedding- pretty much everything except food. Can you tell we’re excited? Mathew and I are definitely not ready for children yet (I need to finish my degree and get a teaching job first, so we’re waiting a couple years) but a puppy will be just what we need!

Oh, and if you were wondering how I’ve been doing with Myfitnesspal.com? I’ve lost 6 lbs in just under 3 weeks (anything more than 2 lbs a week is not entirely healthy for you). I’m so happy! If you’re on Myfitnesspal.com leave a comment with your username and I’ll add you!

Anything new with you? I’ve barely been on here and haven’t been reading. Catch me up ladies!
