When I was a kid, I hated bowling. Like seriously hated it. I always went in excited and then all I’d get were gutter balls- even when the bumpers were up. I was always dead last and just felt so discouraged. I didn’t start bowling again until I was in high school, and even though I was still terrible, I laughed it off instead of throwing a pity party.
Nowadays, bowling is one of the first things I suggest when going out with our group of friends. I’ve gotten better at my bowling and even wear my “lucky” socks when we play. (Side note: my lucky socks are just ANY of the cheesy holiday socks my dad has bought me from the grocery store every year lol.)

Wow, what a great deal! This sounds like so much fun, although I think 2 games is pretty much my limit. Confession: when I first met my husband him and his friends were really into bowling and I thought renting shoes and using the bowling balls were gross, so we bought my own, so now I own my own sparkly purple engraved bowling ball, shoes and even a cute retro bowling bag to hold it all. And how many times have I used it since he bought them for me? Probably twice in 8 years…but if I ever did go bowling, I have my own stuff. 🙂
