I don’t know about you guys, but every Fall I get super excited about all things pumpkin. I impatiently wait for the first sign of crisp, cool Fall air and head to Starbucks to grab a Pumpkin Spice Latte and pumpkin scone. Then, I impatiently wait for our local sweet shop, Katie’s Frozen Custard, to come out with their Pumpkin Cyclone. Sometimes though, after a long day, I just need mommy time and I need to take a hot bubble bath with my essential oils, a good magazine, and now that I’m not pumping anymore, the very occasional drink. By the end of the day, I need a pick me up, but I don’t want to drive all the way to Starbucks to get my pumpkin fix. After thinking about it a while, I decided to come up with a Spiked Pumpkin Spiced Latte to give a little POW to my favorite drink. I won’t lie- the spiked pumpkin spice latte is pretty dang good, so use caution and be responsible when you’re drinking it.
What I love about the Spiked Pumpkin Spice Latte is that I can make it at home. Sure, there are days when I just need to get out of the house because I’m stressed from our crazy days, but for the most part, I love being a homebody and just soaking in the tub for an hour or sitting on the couch with Mathew once Addie is asleep and watching Quantico or Blue Bloods. It’s always so much better than going out!
The Spiked Pumpkin Spice Latte is SUPER easy to make and really doesn’t have many ingredients. In fact, you probably have most of them in your house already, which is always nice. I love the boldness of the coffee with the richness of the pumpkin. I love to add a little extra oomph to my drink with Smirnoff Vanilla Vodka, whipped cream, sprinkled cinnamon, and caramel sauce on top. It just makes the drink incredibly decadent and delightful on a crisp, Fall day.
Alright well there you have it- our favorite Fall drink, the Spiked Pumpkin Spice Latte. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. On a chilly day, sit on your porch, snuggle up with your honey under a blanket, and enjoy this delicious drink. I promise you’ll love it.

Great recipe…but why the VERY occasional drink? And why not when pumping? I nursed 3 babes and had wine whenever I felt like it..no biggie.
