1. What do you value most in life?
The fam goofing around the other night |
As a newlywed, I value my marriage the most in my life. God has blessed me with an incredible man who treats me so well. When I met Mathew, I had no idea that I deserved to be treated the way he treats me. Since day 1 he’s always treated me with kindness, sincerity, and respect. I value our marriage because so many people divorce nowadays that it seems as though many don’t value marriage anymore. Celebrities toss marriage around like its a little piece of paper that can be thrown away, and I am just so happy that I have a wonderful marriage. Our 1 year anniversary is coming up, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be hitting that milestone.
2. What do you think is the greatest invention in your lifetime and why?
The greatest invention that’s been made during my lifetime has been the iPhone. With so many awesome features, I always wonder how I lived without it. I love that I can listen to music, share pictures, surf the web, watch (and turn off) tv, and even keep my information in “the cloud.” It really is remarkable, and I wonder how people from the early 1900s would react if they’d seen it. It also makes me wonder, what cool inventions will be out in another hundred years?!
3. What do you think is the secret to a good life?
The secret to a good life is not a secret at all. It’s following Jesus Christ and doing right as by the Bible. It’s my belief that if you truly follow God, you’ll have a good life. Sure, there will be trials, but in the end it’ll all be worth it.
4. What would you most like to be remembered for when you’re gone?
That’s a hard question. My love of chambray? No, just kidding. I’d like to be remembered for being a good Christian, wife, (and hopefully) a mother. I feel that oh so often people die before their time. I hope that my husband and I live long, happy lives together. Just recently my friend Julie had a family member pass away who was 26 years old and with a baby. Just goes to show that you really need to value life.
5. What accomplishment in your life are you most proud of?
I’m most proud of juuuuust about graduating college. I’ve worked my butt off the past several years and have done my best to make the best grades. I’m so glad I finally realized my calling of becoming a teacher.
6. If a movie was made about your life, who would you want to play you?
Ooh I think I’d want Hilary Duff. Yeah, she’s really a singer, but she’s an adorable actress too. Plus, I think she and I share similar style.
