So as I mentioned the other day, my friend Charity mentioned this website hundredpushups.com. I decided I was going to start this yesterday, but time got a hold of me (and when I say time got a hold of me, I mean that I was on Etsy all day looking at pretty invitations haha) and I ended up starting the program this afternoon. The basis of the program is to be able to do 100 consecutive push ups by the end of 7 weeks (you only work out 3 times a week with this program).
I’m not as fit as I used to be, when I could easily do about 30 push ups in a row, but I started out in my initial test doing 13 push ups. The whole point of me even doing this is to make sure I have amazing arms and abs by the time of the wedding. So anyway, after doing the test, I began with week 1 day 1 of the program. Now, my arms are shaky, my abs are shaky every time i try to sit up, and I feel it in my chest.
I have a LONG way to go, but I figure it’s one of the best ways I can get fit before the wedding. I may try and make the program go longer and do some weeks twice in order to really strengthen up. We’ll see how it goes. Plus, after I complete this, it may even be fun to start their 200 squats program.
