HAPPIES
1. It’s been pretty cold over here the past week or so. I made my amazingly delicious (not that I’m tooting my own horn…ok, I am lol) Better Than Panera Broccoli Cheese Soup the other night for dinner. It was the bomb.com…just saying.
2. My work gave us our Christmas bonuses today. I never knew until last week that we even got them, and then I figured I’d get it with this month’s paycheck. But I was wrong! We got our Christmas bonuses early and I’m so happy! I was stressing about the last of the Christmas gifts, so I’m glad that I don’t need to worry anymore.
3. I’m going to a blog meet up tomorrow to finally meet the lovely ladies from Ruthie and Rose! I’m absolutely excited and this blog meet up has been FAR too long in the making! I’m also going to meet my IG friend, Adrian, and I’m kind of excited because I love her IG pictures and just getting to know her online. Our meet up is in San Marcos tomorrow, and since it’s a longer drive for a meet up that I normally make, I’m going to be carpooling with my awesome Austin (well, Hutto) friend, Casey! Casey and I met at the last Austin blogger meet up that I went to, and since we’d be going down the same highway anyway, we thought it’d be fun to go together! Plus, Casey and I keep trying to make a bromance happen between our husbands, so we’ll both have to chat about that too lol.
CRAPPIES
1. I’m like the worst host ever. For some reason last night I thought today was going to be Thursday so my Happies and Crappies post is up late! Ahhh! Worst. Host. Ever.
Aww sweetie don’t sweat being a day off. This time of year that is normal. I lose days all the time. Woot woot on the bonus. I wish businesses around here still did that. but they don’t.. sighs.

I’m so jealous that you get a bloggy meet up! It seems like NO ONE lives in my area (Pensacola, FL). I have met one friend that is from here and was in town visiting her family and it was SO fun! I can’t wait to meet other great friends as I know that there are some meetings in the near future! Congrats on the bonus– I miss those!
Ahhh, I made your happies list!! It was absolutely a blast meeting you in person! I love everything about you, and can’t wait to meet up again!
