Happies:
2. I had my first phone conference with the founder of Pretty Muddy. I’ll be doing the 5k in June, so I was excited that he called.
3. I had to teach the ENTIRE DAY on Wednesday and like 3/4 of Thursday. My mentor teacher had a sick kiddo at home, so it was just me and a sub. It was nerve-wracking but exciting.
4. I’m getting excited thinking about Blissdom and my awesome roomies. Now I need to think about what gifts to get them!
5. NKOTB + 98 degrees + Boyz II Men are going to be in concert this summer. I’ve seen Nick Lachey perform (hmm I wonder what I did with my Nick Lachey shirt…), but never all of 98 degrees. Plus, I love Jordan Knight from NKOTB, and well who doesn’t love any Boys II Men song?! The best part? MY SISTER AND I ARE GOING! She’s buying tickets this morning!
6. I totally was able to reach one of the students that is REALLY quiet in my class but is known to be a trouble maker. I really think she’s just misunderstood, and I’m glad she has decided to put her trust in me.
7. I got to see my friend Hollie this week. I’m so used to seeing her every day for like almost 2 years now that it’s so weird that we’re at separate schools and mostly just text. I missed her.
8. I’m going to Austin tomorrow to meet with a BUNCH of Texas bloggers! I will finally get to see Sar and Sarah again PLUS I’ll meet Jenn, Jess, Savannah, and Kristen. I am SO excited to finally meet them. There are going to be several other bloggers I don’t think I know, but I think it’ll be great! And hey- maybe I’ll get to pass out some of my super cool Vintage Modern Wife business cards 😉
9. Teacher pot luck was Wednesday AND teacher breakfast is today. Who said that being a teacher didn’t have awesome perks? 😉

2. Having a classroom all to myself was a little scary. Students will always try to challenge someone who’s not their “official” teacher, and it definitely made for an exhausting day on Wednesday.
3. The move to WP takes a HECK of a lot longer than I thought it would. It needs to hurry up.
Overall this week was a LOT of really good and hardly any bad. Sure, being sick isn’t fun, but I’m loving this week otherwise.
Im thinking of doing a mud run this summer with my Zumba girls! I’m sorry your sickies! I’ve have an ear ache for weeks. I hate the winter colds! Yucky! I’m trying to link up but it won’t let me. Its early so I’ll try again later. 🙂
I am jealous of your upcoming amazing concert!!!! Those are some of my favorites; I am glad I’m not the only one who still loves the boy bands 😉

I had never been sicker than the first month of student teaching. I hope you get better quickly!
That is a lot of hap pies!! I saw NKOTBBSB (New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys) 2 summers aga it was awesome and would love to go to this one too!! Yay for solo teaching…you’ll get used to it and it gets easier!! Boo for being sick…being a teacher somehow weakens your immune system especially that first year.

My hubby got me sick too! Blah. I am suuuper jealous that you are getting to meet up with other bloggers, I hope to have that opportunity someday! I would die seeing Boys II Men in concert I looooved their cassette when I was little! Totally still jam to some of their song sometimes 🙂 Have fun!!!!

ever looked at incorporating various other content to your
blog posts? It’s true, what you say is useful and such. However, I think that if you built in some other forms of media (such as videos, visuals, pictures) you could make your posts more substantive and alluring. Your page content is great, however if you include more varied media, this site could definitely be top-of-the-line in its topic compared to other sites on .
