The Fall 2013 Pantone Colors have just been released, and if Pantone says that it’s Fall, it’s Fall.
At least… that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
I’m tired of this blazing Texas heat. Sure, this summer was definitely milder than those in the past 5 years, but it’s still 100 degrees in September and I’m COMPLETELY over it.
I’m ready to wear nail polish in fall colors like the Vivacious, Acai, and Mykonos Blue Pantone Colors. I want to wear my scarves, boots with skinny jeans, put HUGE pumpkins on my front porch and lastly hold my Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte to actually keep my hands warm.
I love this Someecard about PSLs but in all actuality, I don’t ever buy them until the first day I feel a breeze in the air. I can’t justify getting one in 100 degree heat. Someone did tell me that I could always get it iced, and that absolutely sounds enticing. I may have to get one.
I saw these adorable pumpkins at H-E-B yesterday and I wanted to get them so badly for my front porch. Last year they looked so fun and festive, but this year I just can’t seem to even want to THINK about decorating for Fall until it gets a little bit cooler. Ugh, I really want them though! Especially the gorgeous Cinderella pumpkins on the left. They’re my absolute favorite.
All I know is that Texas heat needs to quit it. I’m ready for fall. It’s my favorite season and I’m tired of summer. Bring me cool weather, dark and festive colors, and extra cuddling time with my husband. Bring me FALL!
I’m trying hard to hang on to every bit of Summer (which isn’t hard since it is SO FREAKING HOT!)
But, since Fall is my favorite too, I’m so ready for October and breezes!

It’s hard to hang onto the summer when the kids are back in school, but it’s hard to let go of summer when it is still 100 degrees out! I am right there with you….next door in Louisiana. We haven’t had rain in FOREVER and have had burn bans for 2 weeks now…and no rain in site for 10 days. Love those Fall colors, I am ready for the weather to match them 🙂
