Going to a conference of ANY type can be a bit overwhelming. There’s so much information that you just have to soak it all in for a few days afterward to process. BlissDom taught me SO much, and I just am so blessed that I had the opportunity to go. If it wasn’t for Hope’s, I wouldn’t have had the funds to go since we’re on one income while I student teach. I met some amazing people and listened to some amazing speakers. I’ll be doing recaps of the experience throughout the next few days, but I wanted to talk to y’all about some changes that will be coming up soon.
There are many different changes that will be happening on the blog in the next few weeks: to make my blog better visually with sidebar changes and better photography, figuring out what my “story” is for this blog (Thank you Lisa Leonard!) and getting back to the focus of why exactly I blog, and maybe even getting a little more deeper into my life and marriage.
Not only do I want to tell MY story with you, but I want to get to know my readers as FRIENDS instead of followers. Making connections with readers while sharing my story is the WHOLE reason for this blog, so I want to know what YOU want to read. This means I’ll be focusing more on YOUR comments, YOUR link up posts, YOUR tweets/FB messages/IG messages, and more.
Please do me a favor fill out this survey to help me figure out specifically what topic changes I should really focus on for this blog. It’s only one question long, so it’s just a couple of clicks and then you’re done. I do a little bit of everything (since I’m a “lifestyle blogger”), but it’s always good to see what you want to read!

I would seriously be in major trouble if they asked me to define my story. There is so much I talk about and have dealt with through my blog.. the range is immense. From being a sexual abuse survivor, mother of an OCD, generalized anxiety disorder and bipolar young man now, taking care of my mom for 5 years and her death, the loss of many family members. My new grandbaby.. yeah the list is endless.
