I should’ve been more concerned about my weight after buying my dress in late November. I’ll admit, the Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years holidays really messed me up. But then it wasn’t just those holidays…

It was Valentine’s day and birthday parties for friends and family, and visiting family and Easter and graduations…and…well…you get the drift.

My family has started to eat healthier lately (my younger sister is taking a cue from the OLD me where I went from a size 12 to a 2 in 6 months-the healthy way), and they’ve been losing weight. I basically got a phone call telling me I should try to do the same. I got the hint. In a big way. They weren’t trying to be mean, and I completely understand that- but it definitely hurt my feelings.

Their suggestion to “eat healthy” again and hit the gym really upset me. But to the point where I said, “You know what? I’m going to do something about it!” So, since yesterday I’ve been eating better (I bought a bunch of new groceries with healthy food) AND I’ve been going to the gym (and Mathew’s been coming too!).

I’ve done 10 miles a day for 2 days on the stationary bike at Gold’s. That cardio cinema? My new best friend. They’re showing “The Dilemma” in there and I really have been getting into that movie. I still haven’t seen the ending yet, but that’ll have to change tomorrow!

I’m hoping I keep this up. If not for this wedding, than just for my general health. I need all you ladies on my side ok? Y’all better keep me in check 😉
