Welcome to our 37th week of Happies and Crappies link up day! We wouldn’t have been around for so long if it wasn’t for you awesome ladies linking up, so we really appreciate you!
1. Happies and Crappies link up will be posted EVERY Friday at Midnight CST . Happies and Crappies link up was created so you could write about the happies (good) and crappies (bad) from your week!
2. We’d like for you to put our button on your post for the link up.
3. Please follow your hosts. We won’t make it mandatory, but we appreciate the love.
4. If you tweet about your post, feel free to tag myself, Sarah, and use the hashtag #HappiesandCrappies
HAPPIES
1. I get a half day of work today! (That’s ALWAYS something to celebrate)
2. I got a jean jacket the other day at Aeropostale for 50% off! I was so excited to find one for such an amazing price. It’s a great Fall staple that you’ll be seeing in an upcoming photo shoot (and maybe for Halloween too ;))
3. Grey’s Anatomy is back on and although I haven’t watched it yet (we recorded it but have been so busy), I can’t wait to see how this season is starting.
4. Telling coworkers about blogging lately. Somehow I’ve been bringing up blogging a lot lately (I think because I’m excited to go to BBC Dal) and its getting them all intrigued. I crack up when they say I’m “internet famous” because 1) I don’t think so in the slightest, 2) my blog is small compared to SO many, 3) blog famous would be like The Pioneer Woman.
5. First grade has 2 new additions to the family! One of my coworkers had her twin baby girls. They are just precious and so tiny!
CRAPPIES
1.My coworker’s (a different one than the Happies)grandmother died on Sunday.
2. I feel frustrated lately with several things within myself (mentally and physically), our future (kids, house, and Mathew’s work timeline), and work (if students don’t understand a concept that should be incredibly easy for them). I just feel sometimes that now that I’ve finished college, which I worked SO hard to do for several years, that my life is somewhat stagnant. I’m not really working “towards” something, but just…working. Does that make sense? Like when does the next chapter of my life begin and what goes in it?

I totally understand where you’re coming from about feeling stagnant. I felt like that…well, for the last year or so. It’s much better now, but UGH! It is bad when you’re in it. Hugs!

That’s exactly how I felt like in my first year or two after college! I ended up going back to school and am about to finish soon. I guess we’ll see how I feel again next year and if I end up in the same place! We had a half day on Wednesday, but then we had a three hour meeting on the ACT, so I’m not sure how much that counts. Glad you enjoyed your half day!

You are working towards something. . . advancing your career, becoming an incredible teacher, teaching kids SO much so they can be smarter and move on to the next grade, and so much more! Sometimes you just have to enjoy the little moments in life and you certainly have worked have to become a teacher so sit back and enjoy!! 🙂
