The Vintage Modern Wife: Happies and Crappies Link Up

Welcome to our  37th week of Happies and Crappies link up day! We wouldn’t have been around for so long if it wasn’t for you awesome ladies linking up, so we really appreciate you!

The deets on Happies and Crappies link up:

1. Happies and Crappies link up will be posted EVERY Friday at Midnight CST . Happies and Crappies link up was created so you could write about the happies (good) and crappies (bad) from your week!

HAPPIES

1. I get a half day of work today! (That’s ALWAYS something to celebrate)

2. I got a jean jacket the other day at Aeropostale for 50% off! I was so excited to find one for such an amazing price. It’s a great Fall staple that you’ll be seeing in an upcoming photo shoot (and maybe for Halloween too ;))

3. Grey’s Anatomy is back on and although I haven’t watched it yet (we recorded it but have been so busy), I can’t wait to see how this season is starting.

Grey's Anatomy

4. Telling coworkers about blogging lately. Somehow I’ve been bringing up blogging a lot lately (I think because I’m excited to go to BBC Dal) and its getting them all intrigued. I crack up when they say I’m “internet famous” because 1) I don’t think so in the slightest, 2) my blog is small compared to SO many, 3) blog famous would be like The Pioneer Woman.

5. First grade has 2 new additions to the family! One of my coworkers had her twin baby girls. They are just precious and so tiny!

CRAPPIES

1.My coworker’s (a different one than the Happies)grandmother died on Sunday.

2. I feel frustrated lately with several things within myself (mentally and physically), our future (kids, house, and Mathew’s work timeline), and work (if students don’t understand a concept that should be incredibly easy for them). I just feel sometimes that now that I’ve finished college, which I worked SO hard to do for several years, that my life is somewhat stagnant. I’m not really working “towards” something, but just…working. Does that make sense? Like when does the next chapter of my life begin and what goes in it?

Now it’s your turn to link up! Tell us about the Happies and Crappies from your week!
