eShakti is a unique women’s apparel store online that allows custom changes in the style of the garment – sleeve, neckline, length can all be changed by the customer to her preference. They also offer the full size selection from size 0 – 26W and custom sizes too. Their clothes (even custom) are shipped within 3 business days, which is amazing when you know you’ve got an event coming up (like a wedding!) and don’t have anything to wear.

Shakti means ‘power’ in Sanskrit. eShakti therefore means the Power of the Net. They believe the internet empowers customers and helps companies be customer-centered.

I was offered a dress to review from eShakti and stumbled upon the popular pinned Ruffle Front Cotton Poplin Dress. I’d seen it many times on Pinterest in different colors and decided I needed one of my very own.

I ordered mine in white in hopes that I’d wear it for my wedding rehearsal. I always wanted a cute white dress to wear for the rehearsal, so I thought, “Why not?!” I decided to go the custom route and give eShakti my measurements, because buying things online can always be iffy since all stores have their own idea of what a Medium is and I’m only 5 feet tall so I needed the length to be perfect. I didn’t change any other specifications like the neckline or sleeves even though I was given the chance.

Just a few days after I placed my order, my dress came in the mail. It was packaged in a pretty small box, so it was a little wrinkled, but it’s nothing that a little ironing can’t help! I slipped on my dress and WOW! It looked so cute! I really like how it fit me like a glove.

My plan now is to wear the dress in a few weeks at the rehearsal with maybe a hot pink cardigan (since it’s one of our wedding colors). I think it’d be cute!

If you’re interested in getting an awesome dress (they also have pants, scarves, jackets, and more) definitely try out eShakti! You’ll be happy you did 🙂
