I don’t know about you all, but we love hot cocoa in our home. I have so many wonderful memories of vacations in New Mexico with my family and grabbing a styrofoam cup filled to the brim between ski runs and memories of my dad making hot chocolate in early mornings when he would come home from the night shift and would wake us up with a warm mug full of chocolatey goodness. It’s something I’ve passed on in our family and I’m very passionate with using milk for hot chocolate instead of water, haha!
We definitely don’t do little packets either, but I’ll tell ya- give me all the marshmallows- especially if they’re homemade! If you’ve never had homemade marshmallows, definitely spend some time making them. I worked at an after school program back in the day and hosted a cooking class once a week. The week we made marshmallows was heavenly and all of our eyes were rolling in the back of our heads because they were that good. Make them a day or two ahead and you’ll thank me, truly.
