1. If you were stuck on an island what are the two material items you would want to have?
If I was stuck on an island I’d take my phone (so I could call someone to rescue me) and sunscreen. I can get burnt pretty easily when I’m laying out, and I’m pretty sure that if I was on an island, all I’d do is lay out and tan.
2. What are two TV shows you’d watch over and over?
Two shows I can EASILY watch over and over are Grey’s Anatomy and How I Met Your Mother. I have all the seasons of Grey’s on DVD, and we constantly watch HIMYM on Netflix every day! I really miss the original cast of Grey’s Anatomy with Eric Dane, T.R. Knight, and Katherine Heigl, but it is what it is. The show must go on!
3. If your house was on fire what two things aside from family, pets, etc would you grab?
If our house was on fire I’d grab our folder of important papers and my phone. Obviously, my phone is pretty important to me. It’s got numbers, emails, internet, etc so it’d definitely be important to grab. Plus, I don’t have ANYONE’s number memorized anymore.
4. What are your two most favorite articles of clothing?
My two favorite articles of clothing are my floral scarf from charlotte russe, and my signature chambray shirt! Duh!
5. What two movies that you saw in the past year would you recommend to us?
I would definitely recommend Les Miserables and Joyful Noise. They are both are musicals but are also completely different. The main guy in Joyful Noise actually is a guy I went to high school with and had a crush on for 3 years (he was a year ahead of me.) Nevertheless, Joyful Noise was his movie debut, as he’s been on Broadway before the movie came out, and I really like it. As for Les Miserables, you can’t help but love the storyline and want to sing for joy at the end of the movie. So touching, heartbreaking, yet somehow joyful.
6. What are your two biggest guilty pleasures?
My biggest guilty pleasures definitely are blogging and french fries. Blogging is a guilty pleasure, because I can admit that I totally put off other things I should be doing to blog. As for french fries, Whataburger’s are the best (followed by Chick-Fil-A) because they’re always PIPING hot and perfectly salty.
Ouch! I didn’t even think of sunscreen. I’d be burnt to a crisp.
& my husband and I totally had Whataburger this morning…and at our wedding…
it’s our favorite couple guilty-pleasure 🙂

Finally! You’re the first person I’ve read that included Les Mis in their two movies. I felt like it was being unfairly ignored. And the connection you have to the Joyful Noise movie is really cool! I do want to see that one one of these days.

I love Whataburger. We don’t have any in Pennsylvania, but my husband and I have friends in Texas. When we visit, we MUST stop at Whataburger!

I love HIMYM. It’s one of my favorite shows. I was SO extremely happy when they put it on Netflix! They signed up for another season too!
And I agree french fries are so bad but so good. I had some last night and today. Sometimes you just get hooked!

Oooo! French fries are my guilty pleasure when we eat out. I rarely allow myself to get them. I don’t know how to stop once I start eating them!

I love French fries! I think the ones at McDonald’s are surprisingly good, but Chick-Fil-A’s are better. Bojangles used to make great ones before they started skimping on their seasoning so much. I’ll have to try What-a-burger’s sometime if I can find one near my town.
Greys for sure
