Although most of my weekends are pretty simple when we’re in town, this weekend was actually a nice little change. Last week was Sar’s birthday, and she invited Mathew and I out to meet up with her and RP3, Sarah and her husband, and Paige and her hubby at a local bar downtown.
I’d also asked Sar a few weeks earlier to take some pictures for me so I could get graduation announcements made, and she kindly agreed to take them while we were all hanging out. I took some pictures in regular clothes and some in my graduation garb. I’m getting my graduation invitations made on Etsy, but I thought I’d show you a sneak peek of a possible invitation picture:
I definitely should’ve worn a smooth bra instead of lace, but what’re ya gonna do? In any case, I LOVE how it turned out and am almost considering changing my sidebar picture to it. I’ve got more formal pictures possibly going on the invitation, but I thought I’d let y’all see a possibility (and Sar’s awesome work).
After taking a few graduation pictures, we went inside the bar and played Cards Against Humanity. Have any of y’all played this game!? It’s crazy fun! Definitely not for the super duper conservative though. You definitely can’t be offended easily if you play this.
This game is seriously hilarious and too much fun. It’s definitely a fun game to play when you kinda know people to have an ice breaker. I wouldn’t play it with people I didn’t know though- it’s cray! I definitely got to see a new side of my Twitter/blog buddy, Paige 😉 All in all, I’d call the game a pretty fun time for a chill-out birthday get together.

Love, love, love the game! I have only played once but my favorite was ‘build a haiku’. We were loose with the haiku and just put in three cards. Mine was: “Five dollar foot long/Big whiff/Explosion”.
