The product and post seen below have been sponsored by Gracie B. as part of their “Transitioning Into Fall” campaign. However, all opinions are my own.

Some of my favorite things to do on the weekend include hanging with the girls during the day, and having a fun date night with my husband in the evening. I’m always searching for something fun to do in Waco, but to be honest, sometimes I just NEED to get out of town. Blogger meet ups are my perfect “excuse” for getting out of town for a few hours or the whole weekend.

I’m not sure why- ok, I know exactly why, but whenever I go to blogger meet ups I over-analyze EVERYTHING and change my clothes a million times, actually put on a FULL face of makeup, and make sure my hair is perfect. It’s like that “first date” or “job interview” mode. I want to look perfect for absolute strangers.

CUE GRACIE B.

Love this cute dress from Gracie B! Looks adorable paired with a denim jacket and boots!

I’d heard about Gracie B. through a number of friends and thought I’d check them out. I found their Dot Flutter dress and fell in love. Swiss dot is a secret love of mine and I thought the dress was perfect for the blogger meet up in Austin. Austin is not only the state capitol of Texas, but they’re known for their “Keep Austin Weird” phrase and their need to be “trendy” yet “different”.

My look for the day? Wavy hair, jean jacket, cowboy boots, and the Dot Flutter dress. The weather was perfect for this outfit!

Love this cute dress from Gracie B! Looks adorable paired with a denim jacket and boots!I felt so “country” and cute for the blogger meet up. We actually had a small cold front that made for a chilly morning but perfectly cool afternoon. I met the girls at a fun place called Mozart’s Coffee Roasters and just hung out on the deck chatting for a couple hours.

After the meetup, I was a little bummed to be going home because Mathew was out at his deer lease and wouldn’t be home for several hours. I went home anyway, and was so excited when Mathew came home that we decided to go out for dinner. I wanted to turn my dress from day to night, traded the jacket and boots for a statement necklace and wedges.

I adore how this blogger styled this Gracie B dress two different ways for day to night!

I adore how this blogger styled this Gracie B dress two different ways for day to night! All in all I think this day to night transition was a success! It didn’t take much change at all (perfect for those last minute dates) and made a world of a difference to the outfit. I may even try it with a pair of flats and a sweater!

I hope you’ll go check out Gracie B. and their new arrivals that are perfect for transitioning for Fall! I promise Gracie B. won’t disappoint!
