Recently I went to Lenscrafters.com to try and find a new pair of glasses. I went and created my own account using their MyAccount feature, and then I took the “Find Your Look” quiz to see if I could get some help in picking a nice set of frames without being overwhelmed.
I’ve had glasses since the third grade, and you’d think I’d be a pro at it by now, but I generally hate shopping for glasses. I’m mostly a contact wearer out in public, and a glasses wearer at home when I want to feel lazy. More and more though, I find myself wearing my glasses out in public and I can’t have an ugly pair of frames because I know way too many people. I go to the grocery store and everyone at the pharmacy knows me, then I see church friends, and even sometimes I run into family. Not looking my best in public just isn’t an option anymore. Long gone are the days where I could go to the store in sweats! I figured the “Find Your Look” quiz would be the most helpful in finding the perfect glasses, and I was absolutely right!
What I loved about the quiz was how easy and fast it was. I really don’t have time during the day to do things other than be with Addie because we’ve always got so much going on. The quiz took me about a minute and then gave me a list of 10 frames that Lenscrafters thought would be suitable for my face! The quiz asked various things like what I’d most likely do on the weekends, what type of interior design style I liked, what clothes I wear on the daily, and what clothes I would wear on a night out. With the “Find Your Look” quiz I found about 6 pairs that were the perfect glasses and in sync with my sense of style.
It was really helpful that after getting my “Find Your Look” quiz results I actually got an answer as to why those frames are the perfect glasses for me because of my style options and face shape. It also had a place below where I could go and find a store near me. Once I finished my quiz, I went to the frames I loved and favorited them so I could just click on “MyAccount” and find them easily. I’m so bad about losing things I write on paper and even worse about remembering things that aren’t about Addie, so the fact that I could favorite the perfect glasses for me and have them saved in my account really was handy.
I’m excited to go grab a new pair of glasses really soon! Which ones do you like for me?
