Save the Dates are something that have come out as being popular in the past 5 years. They’re a fairly new idea in the wedding world, and of course, the whole reason Mathew and I had our engagement shoot was so that we could showcase our pictures in our Save the Dates!

Our friend Brittney (who btw is amazing!) is a stay at home mom with 2 little ones, a baby and a toddler. She normally has a business on Etsy called BOriginals but since her newest edition to her family is still little, she’s taking a break. Luckily, she loves us (and Mathew’s family) so she designed our Save the Dates. She has a blog which she hasn’t updated since she had her baby girl, but if you’d like to see some of her work, you can check it out here. Basically, our whole church hires her to do Christmas cards, baby announcements, save the dates, graduation announcements, etc. We love Brittney, and we’re so happy she created our Save the Dates!

She sent us several options last night for our proofs: 2 front options and 2 back options (our STD will be double sided). Because I want our Save the Dates to be a surprise to our guests, I’m going to show you the OUTTAKE! I’ll post the real STD (btw I HATE shortening it. I feel so dirty!) after our guests receive theirs in the mail. Plus…it keeps you guys hanging!

So without further ado…OUTTAKES OF OUR SAVE THE DATES!

This is an option of the front that we had. We loved it, but we loved our other one more. I love how she used our wedding colors in it and it went well with the theme of our pictures.

This is an outtake of a back. The only reason we didn’t use it was because it was horizontal and we picked a vertical front. It’s great though and I love the scrabble board and the link to our website!

Hopefully by the end of the week I’ll be able to show you all the Save the Dates that we picked!
