With cold and flu season here, our household does everything in our power to take preventative wellness steps to make sure we don’t get sick. It’s something incredibly serious in our house, because if we get Addie sick, she could possibly end up in the hospital thanks to her respiratory issues. We take great measures to ensure she doesn’t get sick during respiratory season like washing our hands incredibly frequently, using hand sanitizer, and not going out much. We also use our Young Living Thieves Spray to help disinfect public surfaces like bathroom locks, door knobs, etc. It may seem silly to some, but for us, prevention is important. Sometimes though, one tiny little germ evades me and one of us inevitably doesn’t feel well. This year, I’m making sure I’m stocked up on Kleenex brand tissues and my Young Living Essential Oils. When I want softness, I grab Kleenex Ultra Soft Tissues with lotion, and I’m going to show you how to give them a little boost this winter season! Keep them for yourself, or give them to a friend, everyone will be happy with your essential oil infused tissues with Kleenex brand!
Here’s what you’ll need to create your essential oil infused tissues with Kleenex brand:
Kleenex Ultra Soft Tissues or Kleenex Tissues with Lotion
Young Living Essential Oils in Lavender, Eucalyptus Globulus, and Peppermint
Glue Stick or Clear Tape
To get started, take your box of Kleenex Ultra Soft Tissues or Kleenex Tissues with Lotion and open the box just as you normally would. Pull out 1 tissue. Kleenex brand is the #1 preferred Ultra Tissue, and for delicate skin, they care for your sniffles and sneezes with the extra soothing softness of Kleenex Tissue with Lotion.
Next, you’ll need to grab your Young Living Lavender, Eucalyptus Globulus, and Peppermint essential oils. You will fold the tissue you pulled out of the box into a square. Drop 1 drop of lavender, 1 drop of Eucalyptus Globulus, and 1 drop of Peppermint onto the folded tissue.
Take your Kleenex brand tissue box and lay it on its side. You’ll need to carefully open the side of the box without ripping the flaps. Once you’ve opened the box, you’ll find that the Kleenex facial tissues are neatly packaged inside.
Place your essential oil infused tissue onto the tissues in the Kleenex brand box (essential oil side touching the other tissues). Use your glue stick to glue the box closed, or place a piece or two of clear tape to seal it shut. Keep the box for yourself, or give it to a friend when they’re not at their best! The Young Living Essential oils will soothe any nose and invigorate the senses to pep anyone up!
This cold and flu season, check out Walmart’s pharmacy section and stock up on your Kleenex facial tissue. You can take advantage of a Walmart exclusive offer- receive a $5 VUDU credit when you purchase either a 4-pack of 75-ct Kleenex Ultra Soft Tissues or Kleenex Tissues with Lotion. Some of the boxes will have stickers for a coupon, and some won’t, but all of the Lotion/Ultra Soft 4-packs are eligible. You can redeem your VUDU credits by purchasing a qualifying item and star/check the item(s) and the date of your receipt. Snap a clear photo of the entire receipt with your phone.
