As I mentioned in my first post, I received a guestbook from my parents for Christmas. When ordering it online, I had the option to pick what the title page said. I guess it hadn’t hit me yet that this guestbook was OURS together and I had the title page say
“The guestbook of:
Stephanie Nicole _______ & Mathew Lee _______
December 3, 2011″
After getting the guestbook sent to the house and opening it up to see it’s amazingness, I realized that I must’ve not comprehended that the guestbook was going to be for us on our WEDDING DAY. This blonde moment was shortlived though, and I was able to contact the guestbook store in order to get a new title page. So now, our guestbook now reads:
“The guestbook of:
Mathew & Stephanie _____
December 3, 2011″
I received the new page this afternoon and ripped open the envelope it came in as soon as I got home from work today. This guestbook is like no other that I have seen. I love its uniqueness and I am really excited for our guests to use it.
I love this! Are you going to put a page at each person’s place setting with a pen (I’m assuming you can do this if you can change your title page) or are you going to have a table? I need to do some catching up on your blog, but pens could be a fun favor to add to the table if you don’t have a favor idea yet!
Glad you like our idea! I think we are going to have them at various large round tables during cocktail hour so that everyone will get to fill them out. They sell special markers to use on these that are safe for the paper, so we’ll have those out on the tables as well, and then just have our house party members gather them up as people finish them 🙂 Love the idea of pens being the favor, that could be a great idea…though for now, we’re doing a candy bar! I think if I get some extra money though I may do the pen idea too 😉
