With less than a year away from our wedding (10 months and 27 days to be exact), you’d think I’d just be getting on the bandwagon with my planning. This is so not the case though. I suppose I am somewhat a type A bride, but I feel like that’s somewhat of a strong title.

Christmas brought upon so many blessings for me in terms of things we need for our wedding. I was given gorgeous cake cutting knives from my Aunt Gloria, wedding shoes and a headpiece from Mathew’s family, awesome monogram candy dishes from my sister/bridesmaid Arlene, and my extra special wedding guestbook from my parents. I couldn’t have asked for more, and I’m quite excited to use all this stuff. I’ve already started making way for my wedding items in two boxes at the top of my closet. Everything is staying in its original box and the list of items in these two boxes are increasing every couple of weeks.

If you’re wondering whether or not I have bought my wedding dress, I am happy to tell you I have (along with all my accessories!) Unfortunately, because family will be reading this, I won’t post a picture of my dress, but I am happy to announce that it is gorgeous, and from David’s Bridal.

Overall, our wedding planning is going smoothly. Currently, since Mathew and I have done so much already, there isn’t much to do. I am trying to gather addresses for those I plan on inviting to showers my family members are hosting (right now the lingerie shower hosted by my cousin (by marriage) Clarissa’s mom, Gloria is planning. I’m excited for my showers not for the gifts, but because I’ll actually get to be around all my friends and family in one place.

It’s alot of fun to plan this wedding, but alot of work. I’m excited to see how it all turns out throughout the coming months!
