I’m guest posting at Mrs. Monologues today and talking all about healthy recipes and meal planning! Go check it out!

I’ve been doing the whole weekly meal planning since Mathew and I got married, and I have to say, it definitely helps us stay on budget and eat healthier. Y’all know I’ve been posting lots of recipes lately, and it’s because I’m excited that I’m finally getting back on track with weight loss.

Here’s how I meal plan:

1) Print off my Weekly Meal Planning template (below)
2) Check my own recipe archives for a healthy meal or two, and Skinny Taste or Pinterest for more recipes.
3) Check my pantry/fridge as I write down each meal so I don’t buy things I already have.
4) Draw a little square by each grocery item so I can check it off (crossing off things looks so messy to me!)

Easy, right?!

I’ve broken my meal planning template into 4 sections: produce, meats, aisles, and cold/frozen because of simplicity. I hate seeing lists with “canned” or “dairy”  because maybe I don’t only get “canned” things in my aisles- maybe I get Clorox Wipes or something.

The Vintage Modern Wife has you covered with a weekly meal plan template to keep you organized! Download it now and simplify your life!
Download this file (for personal use only) to get the PDF and print as many copies as you need!

I hope you enjoy this meal planning template as much as I do. I’d love if you commented if you download it. If it helps you as much as it helps me, send your friends!
