Addie has a twin day bed that turns into a king, and it made it difficult to make the bed. The comforter would be shoved into the side with the back, and the rest would hang down the front. It just always looked sloppy no matter who made it. Not only that, but when we pulled it out into the king, we never had enough comforter for both mattresses. We would always have to drag a blanket into her room, and that was a pain.
Here’s why I love it- each Beddy’s has a patented design and there’s nothing else like it on the market. The Beddy’s bedding is all one piece and goes on like a fitted sheet. Each Beddy’s bedding has a zipper all around the top that opens up to the blanket and sheet. The blanket is made of that super soft minky fabric and the sheets are equally as comfortable. When you’re done sleeping, you just zip it back up and put the pillows on your bed. Literally so easy that a toddler could easily make their own bed. Genius.
I still wondered how we would like the Beddy’s bedding on nights we didn’t have a nurse because we would have to pull out her bed. Beddy’s sent us two Beddy’s sets and it was such a game changer. We pulled out her bed and the Beddy’s stayed on each mattress even better than fitted sheets. Both ones were easy to unzip, cozy into, and rest. I won’t lie- I found it insanely cozy and was so jealous we didn’t get a Beddy’s set for Mathew’s and my bed.
We fell in love with the Daydream (Minky) set for Addie’s room. It’s a beautiful light blue and white striped design on the outside. When the Beddy’s is unzipped it has a soft white minky blanket. The sheets are white with the most adorable small light blue hearts. It’s such a sweet set. It also comes with a white and blue heart pillowcase and a blue and white striped sham.
If you know Addie though, you know we are always “extra.” Beddy’s also sent us their “Over the Rainbow” pillow cover, “Hearthrob” pillow cover, 2 feather pillow inserts, a “Marshmallow Fluff” pillow, and the Rainbow Crush blanket. Everything just fit perfectly together. The best part is- even with the pillows it takes me less than 1 minute to make her bed each day. Isn’t that wild?!
I definitely think this is one purchase that any family with little ones all the way through teens should have. Heck, they have Beddy’s bedding that goes up to king size, so even if you don’t have kids, it’s worth getting. I honestly can say I want to have Beddy’s on every single bed in my house now. I’m not joking. As an adult I still hate making my bed. If I can make Addie’s in less than a minute, I would happily do it on our bed too. They have a ton of great designs for all ages, are super comfortable, and I can’t believe we didn’t get Beddy’s sooner. Next up- Lawson’s room, because his comforter never stays on his bed!
