Well it’s Thursday, and you know what that means! Copy Cat Closet!
the Grant life
Sorry for my absence this week on the blog. It’s been one heck of a week. Not to say that it’s been bad, but just incredibly busy. In addition to working full time and going to school full time, I also officially started my student teaching this week! Because of everything, the blog got put on the back burner a little, and I had not been able to push out any posts this week. Forgive me!
This week’s challenge was white jeans. I know, I know- white after Labor Day?! GASP! But trust me, it’s ok. Natalia pulls this look so well, and it made me wish I owned white jeans. But…I don’t.
I didn’t want to give up on this challenge though, and Natalia mentioned colored pants or jeans or whatever. Just something DIFFERENT. I decided to go with the colored pants look even though y’all have seen my ONLY pair of colored pants. But so what!? Natalia’s whole rule during Copy Cat Closet isn’t to go out and buy something, it’s to “shop your closet.” That’s what I did.

Ah the good ole work bathroom. In my defense, I hadn’t clocked in yet. Anyway, my pants are from Loft (clearance!), shirt from KikiLaRue, necklace from Forever 21, watch is Michael Kors, and shoes are Vera Wang for Kohl’s. All makeup is MAC (if you want colors just leave a comment and I’ll be happy to share).
Natalia also challenged us to do the cat eye eyeliner. As you can see, this picture is a tad blurry because I really needed to clock in and hurry up, but I used a dark purple eyeshadow and winged out my eyeliner. I actually love to do the cat eye liner, so this was right up my alley. I really want to get a good eyeliner though that isn’t a pencil that I can really get to give me the PERFECT cat eye. Anyone have suggestions?
