The day Addie was born was the first day of school. I was a first grade teacher at the time, but was put on bed rest a few weeks prior thanks to high blood pressure. Fast forward six years, and Miss Addie is about to enter 1st grade (I can’t even believe it!) We’ve watched Frozen 2 pretty much every day this Summer between Addie and Lawson asking for it, and I won’t lie, I secretly enjoy it as much as they do.
Back to school fashion was always such a big deal to me growing up. My parents always were on a budget, but my mom made sure we had cute clothes for great deals. My mom must’ve rubbed off on me because I find myself doing the same thing for the kids. When we started to pull a wardrobe for Addie’s back to school adventures, Walmart was easily the first choice. Walmart has so much cute Frozen 2 back to school fashion! It made me so happy that not only was the Frozen 2 stuff so cute, but it was within my budget. Double win!
Addie has been a part of homebound services from our school district for the past 3 years, and this year we decided to do the same for her. It’s a great way that we can have Addie home due to her medical complexities, but also have a teacher come and do lessons with her. Because of our current climate, Addie’s homebound services have become virtual only for the year, but that absolutely won’t stop this girl from looking cute all school year long. Bring on the Frozen 2 back to school fashion, right?!
