Ok, ok I know…I’m a failure. Baby Bump Monday hasn’t been done in 10 weeks (yikes). I”m going to be honest- these chalkboards are tiring! I actually made a 20 week chalkboard, but never stood by it to take a picture. Since then, I haven’t done a BBM post. Sorry guys!

Baby bump chalkboard by The Vintage Modern Wife inspired by Little Baby Garvin. 29 weeks pregnant!

How far along: 29 weeks! I’m already in the 3rd trimester and this pregnancy is going by FAST. I’ve got 7 or 8 weeks to go (depending on when they decide to schedule my c-section) and that’s just mind blowing to me!
Gender: Addison is still a girl 😉
Maternity clothes: I’m wearing mostly maternity clothes, but I can still fit into a good amount of pre-pregnancy tops and pants that have some stretch (tank tops, cotton tees, yoga pants).
Stretch marks: I really thought I was doing a good job- but last week I noticed 3 tiny red dots on my hip. Those 3 dots have turned into about 5 dots and are getting bigger. You guys- I’m so sad about this!
Belly button in or out: Innie still! Praise the Lord! Outie belly buttons freak me out so I’m thankful that my black hole of a belly button is still an innie.
Sleep:  Sleep comes and goes lately. I get up at least 3-4 times a night to go to the bathroom, I’m ALWAYS tossing and turning to get comfortable (even with my Snoogle which is a pregnancy MUST), and some nights lately I’ve had insomnia. I guess my body is getting me ready to take care of this baby at the crazy hours of the night!
Best moment this week: Mathew and I went to our doctor appointment last Tuesday and although they usually flip the 2d ultrasound to 3d at the end of our appointment to give us some pictures, we were SHOCKED at how cute Addison looks now. She’s really filling out and doesn’t look like an alien anymore! We are pretty sure she has my nose and lips, and I love those sweet little ears and fingers. The black in the picture isn’t her hair (she’s going to be blonde most likely), it’s just how the picture turned out.

Miss anything: I don’t miss too much right now! If I miss anything, it’s probably just getting a good night’s sleep without waking up and turning, but mostly that’s it.
Movement: Addison is all OVER the place! I’m supposed to be feeling about 10 kicks/movements per hour, and I just laugh in the mornings because the second I wake up, it’s like she does too, and I get my “good morning” kicks. I also feel her hiccuping at times, which is really weird!
Cravings: Milk is still a craving of mine, and this week I’ve been wanting bananas!
Queasy or sick: For a while there I was constantly getting sick after meals. I’d eat, and then about 3-4 hours I’d throw up. Sometimes, I’d even throw up in the morning for no reason! Turns out, I’ve got seriously bad heartburn and acid reflux. I’ve been taking Zantac for it, and I feel SO much better. The throwing up had been going on for about a month and a half before I did anything about it (you know, trying not to take medicine for the good of Addison) but now I’m thankful I am taking it because I can actually eat foods I love without getting sick. Sometimes, taking medicine ends up being for the good of the baby after all!
Looking forward to: Getting our custom bedding. Our bedding should be done pretty soon, and it’s pretty much the finishing touch to the nursery. We’ve got all of our furniture done, and I just need to make a mobile, curtains, and a growth chart and we’re good to go!

Love this progression of baby bump pictures of The Vintage Modern Wife from 10 weeks pregnant to 29 weeks pregnant. I can't wait to see all the way to 40 weeks!
