So I feel like a fatty. Like for real, y’all. Last year I lost 30 lbs and then gained 10 back during the holidays with the stress of leaving my job, starting student teaching, and being on one income. Being a teacher isn’t easy on it either. I feel like at least every week we have a birthday in our class and it’s incredibly hard to deny cupcakes. Then there was Valentine’s day and I got all these chocolates (to which I’ve only eaten a small few pieces). Needless to say, I don’t like that my jeggings are feeling tight. Yeah, that’s not good.

What you eat in private, you wear in public: Getting Healthy with Crossfit

I’ve done the eating healthy thing, but that only goes so far. You have to work OUT to lose weight too. In fact, before I moved to Waco several years ago I lost 60 lbs eating healthy AND working out (and then gained it all when I moved here and I’m slowly losing it). There were no secrets, no pills, nothing. Just eating healthy and hard work. It’s not difficult physically, but MENTALLY for me.

I need inspiration, guys. Like BAD. I feel like I’m still hungry 1 hour after eating, or feel uninspired to work out more than 1 hour at the gym, when a couple of years ago I would go to the gym 4-5 days a week for 3 hours each day. I was a GYM rat and only talked about healthy eating and working out. But now? Where’s the inspiration!? You could even tell me that you’d give me a shopping spree if I lost 40 lbs and I’d still not be encouraged enough. All I know, is that I want to look like this:

So I think I’ve found what I want to do, but I’m not sure:

Keep Calm and Crossfit On: Getting Workout Inspired

There’s a free class that the Waco Crossfit hosts every Saturday for people who are thinking about trying it out and I really want to go. Neely, Sarah, and Sar are coming over that day, but it should be early enough that I can go, get showered, and be ready for them. I don’t know, I’m nervous, but I’m really hoping this will give me the motivation. I need someone that will help me kick my own butt!

Anyway…Here’s the moment you were waiting for…the announcement!

Next Wednesday, February 27th
I’m hosting a link up with Amanda and Amber to talk about blog names. We want to know … What your blog name is, why you picked it, and what it means to you!

Here’s the button! Please make sure you include it in your post and make sure you come back to one of our blogs and link up so others can find your posts.

So tell me… what do y’all think about Crossfit? Have you heard good things about it? Is it worth the money (and would any of you like to be my secret benefactor?!) and will you be linking up with us next week? I hope you will!
