I don’t know about y’all- but I’m a HUGE musical lover. If there’s a movie made into a musical, I’ve probably seen it. I also like going with my family and Mathew’s family to broadway and off-broadway productions when we can. So when I found out that Chicago, Dreamgirls, and Les Miserables would be together on ONE stage for a whole scene at the Oscars- I couldn’t help but get giddy.

I was the girl in high school who watched Chicago on a weekly basis after school when my neighbor would come over so we could do homework. I know every line, every song…you get the point.

As for Dreamgirls- you’d have to be CRAZY not to like it. I really loved J.Hud’s performance but I have to admit…I like fat Efie better. Is that weird? She still did freaking amazing.

Les Miserables

Obviously Les Miserables is a newer movie (but the musical has been around a long while) and I couldn’t help but get chills when we saw it 3 times in the theater AND then on the Oscars.

The Oscar for the night goes to…..this freaking amazing mash up of 3 amazing musicals! I’m sure you all watched last night, but come on, you know you NEED to watch this again! 😉
