Sometimes I wonder about my parents. They read my Facebook posts (thank God they don’t have Twitter!) and take them out of context, call me, and then I have to explain it to them. For instance, my dad apparently read this post on Facebook:

Afterward, I got a phone call from my mother saying “So I heard you’re having a birthday party this weekend. Thirty one?” “Um, no mom. Thirty-One is a company that sells cute bags, totes, and organization stuff. Besides, you know my birthday is in JULY and I’m only 26!!!”

*sigh*

Apparently it’s my 31st birthday and I don’t even know it. My parents are crazy. I had to explain the awesomeness that is Thirty-One and tell them how excited I was for this party…

I was so excited for my party that I may have gotten carried away with my cleaning. Mathew and I cleaned the whole apartment for over 2 hours (I even cleaned baseboards!) because I always want my place to look clean when friends come over.

I made cookies and a yummy cream cheese/marshmallow fluff fruit dip and bought some tea for the party. It wasn’t much, but hey- we’re on a budget!
