So being sick over the weekend seriously has taken its toll on me. If anyone knows me though, they know that if I’m sick, I will suck it up if it’s something I REALLY want to do. So thats what I did on Sunday! I went to a bridal show with my FMIL and my bridesmaid, Beth Anne, and it was lots of fun (despite having to rush to the restroom to almost puke twice)! I got lots of information on DJs and found a quartet (but the quartet is already booked on our wedding day…boo!), and I think I found a florist too. I wish I could’ve been able to participate in the cake dig, but honestly, it was hard enough just standing up. Even though, all in all, it was a good time.

My MOH also sent me some pictures of bridesmaid dresses (even though i’ve already picked out mine) that she found on the David’s Bridal website today. I love one in particular, but honestly, they’re so expensive! I love the way it flows though.

Mathew’s cousin Jessica messaged me yesterday and offered me her wedding veil! I have one of my own, but hers is GORGEOUS. Its 2 layered and cathedral with rhinestones all over, and the catherdral part velcros so you can use the short part for the reception. I decided that I am going to use the cathedral veil I’ve already purchased for the ceremony, but for the reception I will gladly use hers with the longer part velcroed off. I thought it was the sweetest offer and it really made me happy that she was so kind. Makes me feel like I’m already family (which I’ve always felt that way around Mathew’s extended family). Here’s a picture of Jessica at her gorgeous wedding (sadly, it was RIGHT before I met Mathew) so you can see the veil (this is it without the longer part)

As for stuff unrelated to the wedding, I got my necklace from Jennifer Meyer (You know…Tobey Maguire’s wife) today that I won from BellaSugar on Facebook! It’s so cute and little! I think I’m going to wear it on our next date night 🙂
